The Robert Emmet statue is once again featured on the 44th annual medallion, with deviation from previous coins.

The statue in Ireland is alleged to be the original one cast by Jerome Conner. The other three in Washington, California, and Emmetsburg were cast from this same mold.

Circling the face side of the coins are the words Robert Emmet, Emmetsburg, IA, March 2009, and Roman numeral XLIV. Stars are included.

The reverse side remains the same.
